Brad Pitt gives advice to suicidal reporter
Whilst leading a Q&A session to promote his new film Moneyball, Brad was initially shocked when one member of the audience opened up to the entire room about his suicidal thoughts. The reporter told Brad that the baseball drama gave him "a renewed sense of hope," spurring the thoughtful actor to offer the distressed fan some advice.
A source told US Weekly: "Brad said 'Look, man, life is up and down, it's a vicious cycle, but you have to go through it and deal with that. You can be down, but then you come back up again, and every failure can lead to success.'
"Brad handled the situation really well in front of several hundred people - it was a difficult moment that shocked everyone."
Keen to make sure that the reporter was okay, the 47 year old went out of his way to shake hands with the guy as he left the auditorium of the Cary Grant Theatre in LA. Another attendee of the event told WENN: "It was a strange but touching moment that rarely happens at a screening session for members of the media. Brad dealt with an awkward situation perfectly."
Hands up if you love Brad even more now!
