Lindsay Lohan to Play Elizabeth Taylor in New Biopic
Just weeks after Lindsay Lohan bore all in a Marilyn
Monroe-inspired Playboy shoot, it has been revealed that the actress is now in
talks to transform herself into another Hollywood legend.
According to Deadline.com,
the troubled star is currently in discussion with TV channel Lifetime Movies
over the role of Elizabeth Taylor in a new project - Elizabeth & Richard: A Love Story.
The drama will tell the story of the turbulent relationship
between Taylor and Burton, who married and divorced each other twice. Their
love affair was closely followed by people around the world. Even the Vatican
put in its two pence, condemning their relationship as “erotic vagrancy.”
The screen play for the upcoming biopic was written by
Christopher Monger, and will be produced by Larry Thompson.
The similarity between Lindsay Lohan and Elizabeth Taylor is
clear to see - think child stars, substance abuse and tabloid interest. Let’s
hope they give Lindsey a break!
