He’s Back! Simon Cowell May Make A Return To The X Factor

It’s no secret that X Factor struggled when it came to viewer ratings, questioning its popularity.

Many assumed it was the absence of Mr X Factor himself, Simon Cowell. Well good news X Factor fans, Simon has hinted that he will be making a return to the show.

According to heatworld.com Simon has hinted that he may return to the British judging panel this year despite committing to another series of the US version. When speaking to The Sun Simon said:

“I've signed up to do the American show, but anything could happen regarding the British one. We'll see what changes we make to the US X Factor, then we'll see what we do to the UK X Factor.”

This news comes at the same time the reality TV mogul has opened up to The Sun newspaper about his eventful year. He surprisingly admitted that his ego had got out of hand, and that 2011 was a particularly bad year for him. He admits:

“I did get too arrogant, everyone does. When you have a very good year like I did in 2010 you get a bit cocky. You think you are great, then you get a bit of a smack. We went into 2011 thinking, 'It's all going to be easy' and of course it wasn't. It was a massive wake-up call. From BGT, to Red Or Black — me making these massive predictions in America. You're in the hands of the public and it's very unpredictable.”

Simon has also recently revealed that he will be making a return to Britain’s Got Talent. He revealed he was returning to BGT full-time after a 12-month gap because he felt last year's judging panel was not good enough. Simon said:

“I don’t think the judges did a good enough job, to be honest. There are always stars waiting to be discovered. Sometimes they need to be pointed in the right direction and I don’t think that happened enough during the show last year.”

Simon will join former judge Amanda Holden, and new judges David Walliams and Alesha Dixon on this year’s BGT panel. He said he decided to return to the show only after he knew the show would be better.

Simon said he is very excited to be working with the new BGT judges, especially David Walliams as he finds him hilarious.
