Katy Perry Defends Kissing Fans On-Stage

Katy Perry has defended her on-stage antics after coming under fire for kissing half-naked boys at her concerts.

The popstar has recently been snapped planting a kiss on two lucky fans as she performed in Manila, Philippines and Jakarta, Indonesia, but contrary to the rumours Perry insists that this part of her act has been going on since before her split with Russell Brand.

Hitting back at critics who claimed that publicly kissing men was part of her plan to make her ex-husband jealous, the E.T. singer tweeted:

“Btw, I have *kissed* 1 boy, picked randomly out of the audience, on the cheek as part of my show for all 125 tour dates. Simmer down now.”
