Taylor Swift Visits Princess Diana Memorial - Enjoys Some Down Time

Taylor Swift has been spotted doing some sightseeing whilst visiting London this week. The 22-year-old took advantage of the wet weather, enjoying some undisturbed down-time in the city’s empty green spaces.

Braving the cold and rain, the singer seemed to enjoy some alone time, listening to her iPod whilst wandering around the Princess Diana Memorial fountain in Hyde Park. Protected with a large umbrella, the casually dressed star looked pensive as she studied the water feature.

The afternoon stroll followed a morning shopping for antiques in Portobello Road and posh chocolates in Bond Street, before enjoying a leisurely lunch at Cote brassiere.

Taylor is thought to be in London in connection with the film production of Les Miserables, though whether she has been rehearsing or just auditioning is unknown. Rumour has it that the You Belong to Me hitmaker has been earmarked for the role of Eponine.

The musical is due to be released around Christmas 2012.
