Brad Pitt And Angelina To Marry Despite Declaring Not To Until Gay Marriage Is Made Legal In US
We always thought it was a bit odd that despite being
together for seven years and having an army of children together, Brad Pitt and
Angelina Jolie had not tied the knot.
Brad originally insisted that they will not get married until gay
marriage is made legal in the US. However it now seems that the couple have
made a dramatic U-turn; they have changed their minds and are now very keen to
become husband and wife soon.
When asked by a Hollywood reporter if he would ever consider
marrying Angelina, the gorgeous actor said:
“We made this
declaration some time ago that we weren’t going to do it till everyone can. But
I don’t think we’ll be able to hold out.”
Brad said their children played a big part in their change
of heart.
“We’d actually like to, and it seems to mean more and more to our kids. It means so much to my kids, and they ask a lot. And it means something to me, too, to make that kind of commitment.”
Despite changing his mind on marrying Angelina, Brad still
wanted to reiterate his support for
gay marriage. Brad said:
'But to be in love
with someone and be raising a family with someone and want to make that
commitment and not be able to is ludicrous, just ludicrous.'
