Lady Gaga Buys Luxury London Apartment
If the rumours are anything to go by, we could soon be
seeing much more of Lady Gaga in our capital!
An insider has revealed to the Metro that the Marry the
Night singer may be giving up her nomad ways after splashing out on a
luxury apartment in one of London’s most exclusive neighbourhoods.
The development in question is said to be a new-build in
Fitzrovia that has yet to be completed. The finished apartment block will boast
floor-to-ceiling windows, four luxury penthouses, a roof garden and a communal
courtyard. Sounds lovely!
Lady Gaga is not the first celebrity to be won over by
British charm. Gwyneth Paltrow and Gwen Stefani have happily settled into
London life with their British husbands, whilst X Factor judge Kelly Rowland
was said to be considering a move across the pond following her stint on the
talent show.
Until recently, Gaga was very clear about the fact that she
was too busy and travelling too much to invest in a home. Speaking in December about
her tour on The Ellen DeGeneres Show,
the diva said: “It’s just not so different from my day-to-day life because I
don’t have a home, still.
“I’m a gypsy, I can’t plan my day-to-day life out like that
so much, and then I think ‘well gosh, what a waste of money to buy a place when
I’m on the road for [so long].’”
Maybe a certain Taylor Kinney has helped Gaga change her
mind!
