Cher Lloyd admits she was a brat back in her X Factor days
Despite constantly
being in magazines and getting in trouble for her cheeky ways, Cher Lloyd insists
that she is not a celebrity, she claims she is a business woman.
Speaking to Heat magazine this week, the X Factor star said:
“I’m not your
average celebrity. I’m not a celebrity. I never ever will be. I’m not someone
to get out of a cab with my drawers on show. I’m here to make music. [Emphatically]
I am a businesswoman. I’m in this to make a good life for myself”.
Cher did admit that
she realised that she acted like a bit of a brat back in her X Factor days. Cher said:
“I was very
stubborn back then. I put up a guard and I didn’t want anyone to come near me.
I was overwhelmed by the amount of people who showed interest in me. So I was a
bitch, a real bitch.”
She added:
“I was a total
brat, it’s good to have attitude, but I see my attitude as passion now instead
of just anger.”
Cher, who recently
became engaged to hairdresser Craig Monk, refused to discuss anything regarding
her relationship. She said to Heat:
“basically I had a
really good word with myself today and I’ve come to a decision. This is the
last time I’m ever going to talk to anyone about my love life, because I just
feel like people are getting chunks out of me.”
She added:
“I’m happy, really
happy. I love him to pieces, more than anything in the world, but I don’t want
people to take that away from me.”
