One Direction Have Narrow Escape from French Fans at Gare du Nord
One Direction had a very busy day yesterday!
The boys were up at the crack of dawn to celebrate Chris
Moyles’ birthday on Radio One, before hotfooting it across town to catch the
Eurostar for a day trip to Paris. This might sound relatively straight forward,
but unfortunately due to One Direction’s rapidly expanding fan base, nothing is
that simple any more.
The boys were mobbed by thousands of French fans at Gare du
Nord when they arrived in Paris, forcing French police and numerous bodyguards
to step in to protect the band from the overzealous One Directioners. Liam even
lost a shoe in the debacle, which left the boys shaken.
The wrestle to get the boys into a waiting car clearly took
its toll on their energy levels. Luckily band member Harry Styles was on hand
to document their awkward sleeping positions on the Eurostar home!
