Rihanna and Chris Brown Unveil Collaboration on Two Remixes
It has been confirmed that Rihanna and Chris Brown have
starred on remixes of each other’s tracks.
Celebrating her 24th birthday Rihanna released a
remix of her saucy song Birthday Cake,
featuring some equally risqué lyrics from Brown which include the words: “Girl
I wanna f**k you right now. Been a long time. I’ve been missing your body.”
Whilst Rihanna fans rushed to get a piece of Birthday Cake, Chris Brown was sending
his fans into a frenzy by sharing his collaboration with the singer on Turn Up the Music online. The chaos
prompted Rihanna to tweet: “It’s a download OVERLOAD!!!! Working on more links
for u guys, so errbody could have some #CAKE [sic]”
The news will fuel speculation that the artists are rekindling
their relationship which ended suddenly in 2009 when Brown attacked Rihanna,
leaving her bloodied and bruised. Three years on, Brown is still on probation following
his conviction for felony battery.
Despite the horrific event, Rihanna has remained loyal to
her ex-boyfriend and the pair has spotted out together on more than one occasion.
RiRi has been met with disapproval over her relationship with the man who beat
her up but has so far remained defiant over critics. We really hope she sees
sense!
