Simon Cowell Thinks Britney Spears Would Find Judging X Factor "A Walk in the Park"
Simon Cowell has revealed that he thinks Britney Spears
would find judging The X Factor USA a
piece of cake!
Speaking to Billy Bush on KBIG-FM radio, Cowell said: “Well,
I’m fascinated by her.
“The fact that she’s still one of the most talked-about –
not just popstars, but people in the world today – means that you’ve got this
star power.
“This girl’s got resilience and the fact that she’s survived
this and she’s still hot, she’s still having hit records and she’s still
controversial… there’s a reason for that.”
Hinting that Spears was in the running for a seat on the
judging panel Simon said: “I would think that if she’s managed to sustain in
her family life a career which is tough, [The
X Factor USA] is a walk in the park.”
Britney is the latest in a series of singers who have been
linked to the talent show following Nicole Scherzinger and Paula Abdul’s
unglamorous exit from the show. Avril Lavigne, Mariah Carey and even Beyoncé
have also been earmarked as potential judges.
So far Cowell has yet to confirm any of the rumours.
