Now Magazine ‘Strongly Defend’ MC Harvey Claims on Cheryl Cole Romance
We heard earlier this week that MC Harvey had made claims that he and
Cheryl Cole had, had a secret romance back in 2010. MC Harvey told the story to
Now magazine. He told the magazine:
“There was a
relationship and an attraction to each other’s aura. She’s a good girl. We’ve
got a great respect for each other.”
He added:
“We started
confiding in each other. A lot of it was like ‘we can’t trust anyone out there,
so we’re just going to trust each other.”
After hearing these claims Cheryl Cole to Twitter to slam down Harvey’s
allegations tweeting:
'Was
this "relationship" happening in your head @harveyofficial?! Are you
smoking something?
Since the almighty Twitter feud, Now
magazine have released a statement standing by what Harvey revealed to them
in his recent interview.
The publication has
said that it will defend itself. The statement published on Now's website yesterday (February 2) read:
"We completely and wholeheartedly stand
by our exclusive and refute any accusation that it contains untruths.”
They added:
"The article
is not defamatory and was published in good faith - we will strongly defend
it."
Harvey himself has
also released a statement earlier this week standing by what he revealed in his
interview in Now magazine.
This comes at the
same time it has been reported that Cheryl is seriously considering legal
action over the claims.
